Electrician in Orlando
Orlando covers more ground than any other area we work in, and the electrical work reflects that — a 1920s bungalow in College Park and a tenant build-out downtown are different trades on the same day.
Working in Orlando
Orlando's housing stock has no single character. College Park, Delaney Park and Lake Eola Heights are largely pre-war and mid-century, which means the same issues we see in Winter Park: undersized services, ungrounded outlets and panels that were adequate when the house had one air conditioner and no home office. Baldwin Park and the newer infill are the opposite — sound wiring that simply was not planned around car charging.
The commercial side is a large part of what we do here. Tenant build-outs, lighting controls, dedicated equipment circuits and service upgrades for office, retail and light industrial space, usually working to a landlord's schedule and a fit-out deadline rather than a homeowner's.
Because the city and the county issue permits separately, the first question on any Orlando job is which side of the line the address falls on. It changes the inspection route and, on larger work, the timeline.
