Electrician in Lake Nona

Working in Lake Nona

Lake Nona is almost entirely new construction. Most of the housing stock has gone up since 2010, which means the everyday problems here are not the ones you find in older Orlando neighborhoods — there is very little cloth wiring or fuse-box work. What there is instead is capacity: homes built to code a decade ago that are now being asked to run a car charger, a pool heater, a summer kitchen and a home office at once.

That shapes the work. A large share of what we do in Lake Nona is load calculations and panel changes for houses that were never wired with an EV in mind, plus dedicated circuits for lanais, outdoor kitchens and garage equipment. We are an approved SPAN certified installer, which matters here more than in most areas — smart panels are a common ask in Laureate Park and the Golf & Country Club, where owners want circuit-level control and backup readiness without a full generator install.

The other half is new build. Custom homes in Lake Nona run from plans through rough-in, inspection and trim-out, usually alongside a builder or GC on a fixed schedule. Around Medical City the work turns commercial — tenant build-outs, lighting controls and dedicated equipment circuits for clinical and office space.
